Cashless School

As you are no doubt aware, technology is moving forward at a fast pace and many schools are now moving away from accepting cash and cheques.

Thorpe Lea Primary School and Nursery is a cash-free environment. We will no longer accept any cash or cheque payments at Thorpe Lea Primary School and Nursery, apart from cash for small charitable donations and one-off sales of specialist items.

Parents are allocated a Scopay account through Tucasi, details are attached. This account is used to pay for school lunches, breakfast club, curriculum trip donations, early year’s termly donations and school run clubs.

Online payments are secure using your credit or debit card with Scopay.

You will have a secure online account, activated using a unique username and password; you will be prompted to change these and to keep them safe and secure. If you have more than one child at our school or children at other Scopay schools, you can create a linked account login for all your children.

Making a payment is straightforward. Once you have activated your account you can make online payments straight away.

Scopay offers you the freedom to make payments whenever and wherever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - safe in the knowledge that the technology used is of the highest internet security available.

Lastly, could we remind all families that school dinner are ordered via your child's scopay account. Dinners must be made in advance.

From September 2021 school dinners cost £2.45 per day (£12.25 per week).
